== Description: == Sure, this looks like a Halloween display on someone's unkempt lawn, but in reality it is one of Queens County's oldest, if not THE oldest, cemetery. It is the eternal home to veterans of the Spanish-American, Civil and even Revolutionary wars. Records indicate that the burial ground itself dates back to 1668. Although this spot has achieved historic status, it is on private property and not kept up too well. I can't advocate a stroll among the grave stones but I will simply say that it is not impossible for the brave of constitution. For those that don't feel like trespassing, it is easily visible from the street and from the LIRR just before Jamaica station off to the left of the train.

== Neighborhood, Area: == Jamaica, Queens
