Dr. Jennifer Levine is a trained specialist in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. She has dedicated her practice to cosmetic and functional surgery of the face and neck. She combines the latest advances in medical and surgical treatment with artistry to provide long-lasting aesthetic results that are natural-looking. Dr. Levine gives each patient her full attention and works with each patient individually to insure the optimal result. By combining pre and post-operative patient education with innovative treatment regimens, Dr. Levine provides her patients with comfort and security as well as the most recent advances in biomedicine. Her goal is a rapid return to normal activities so that her patients can enjoy their results.
Dr. Jennifer Levine has always had an artistic eye and believes that aesthetics and excellence go hand in hand. Drawing and sketching from a very early age, she studied portraits and sketched faces. Dr. Levine always also practices calligraphy, which translates to “beautiful writing.” Dr. Levine has always strived for excellence and is a consummate New Yorker. She was the valedictorian of Edward R. Murrow HS in Brooklyn NY. She continued her education at Columbia College at Columbia University and graduated at the top of her class. Dr Levine then went on to receive her medical degree from Cornell University Medical College with highest honors. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society. Dr Levine was a Joseph Collins Memorial Scholar and was the recipient of the American Medical Woman’s Association Award as well as the Award for Excellence in Otolaryngology.
Dr. Levine performed her residency in Otolaryngology at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and rotated additionally through some Manhattan’s finest teaching hospitals, such as New York Presbyterian Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, Lenox Hill, and New York University. She completed her fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at New York University Hospital, where she studied under and learned cutting-edge techniques from New York City’s most prestigious and renowned plastic surgeons.
The combination of aesthetics and education has helped Dr. Levine develop not only into a skilled surgeon, but an empathetic and caring physician as well. To Dr. Levine, every patient is a person first. Cosmetic surgery is indeed the meeting of form and function, art and artistry. Dr. Levine takes into account patient goals and expectations, balancing them with medical and social issues. Dr. Levine knows that surgery, especially elective surgery, is not a daily occurrence or small undertaking for any person. Dr. Levine does all she can to insure that the patient is well prepared for surgery, both mentally and physically.
