Dixon Place, a laboratory for performing and literary artists since 1986, is dedicated entirely to supporting the creative process by presenting original works at all stages of development. Challenging artists and audiences, this local haven encourages and inspires artists of all stripes and persuasions, and places special emphasis on the needs of women, people of color, seniors, youth and GLBT artists. Serving as a safety net, DP maintains its conviction to hold the artists' experience as its foremost priority.
